A message has surfaced on social media and WhatsApp according to which Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has cancelled the holidays/leave of all the officers.
The viral message read: “All RBI officers holidays cancelled with immediate effect . Something big is coming up.”
Several Facebook users shared the claim on the social media platform.

RBI clarified on their verified Twitter handle that the viral claim is false.
“There are social media reports about cancellation of RBI officers’ leave/LFC. It is clarified that this information is not correct and no such order has been issued by the RBI,” RBI tweeted.
