A video is doing rounds on Facebook claiming that France threw a majestic farewell to the Rafale jets by forming Indian the tricolour in the sky.

NewsMobile fact checked the above post and found out that the claims attached to the video are FALSE.
We extracted the keyframes of the video using InVID tool and put them through Reverse Image search and found a similar picture from one of the frames of the video on blog.yeshotelrome.com with the heading ‘Events in Rome’ in June 2019.
After opening this article it took us another web page to various events held in Rome in June 2019 claiming that ‘June opens with the holiday of Republic Day.’
On probing further, by putting the keywords ‘Republic Day Italy’, we found a video on Euronews Youtube Channel dated June 2, 2019, claiming this video is actually of Republic Day celebration in Italy.
In conclusion, the above information proves that the video in question is from Italy’s Republic Day celebrations and NOT from France.
Hence, the claims made in the viral post are FAKE.
